  • Accident Reports ~ Should I report an accident?

    • Accidents should be reported immediately. If an officer is not called to the scene of the accident, Mountain Bay Metropolitan Police Department will not complete an accident report. In this instance, you may obtain a Voluntary Accident Report from the Police Department which should be completed by you. If there is over $1,000.00 in damage, the form should be mailed to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

  • Bicycle Licenses ~ Should I register my bicycle?

    • For a $2.00 fee you can register your bike at the Police Department, and the license is good for as long as you own the bike. You will need to provide a full description of the bike: Wheel Size, Speed, Color, Manufacturer, Model, and Serial Number. The sticker should be placed on the bike frame so it is easily visible.

  • Fingerprints ~ Does the Police Department do fingerprinting?

    • Fingerprinting services are available through the Mountain Bay Metropolitan Police Department for the general public or those applying for professional licenses. This service is provided for residents or persons who work in the Village of Rothschild, Village of Weston, the Town of Weston or City of Schofield. There is a fingerprinting fee of $30.00 fee for residents and $50.00 fee for non-residents. Appointments may be scheduled or walk-ins will be accepted between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday if an officer is available.

  • Police Reports ~ How do I get a copy of a Police Report?

    • All records of the Police Department, with the exception of juvenile records, are presumed by law to be public with limited exceptions. Accident reports may be picked up in person, mailed, faxed, or e-mailed. Incident Reports may be obtained by filling out an Open Records Request and must be approved for release by the Custodian of Records. Fees for all record requests are listed under the Records tab on this web site.
